Listening to 20 Twenty regarding Justin Welby we must all remember hindsight is 20 20. There are many predators in churches. Like all predators, they are very good at camouflaging themselves and remain in the shadows. Part of this camouflage is to groom not only their victim but their colleagues to think they are a valuable good people. Given this it is hard for things to come to light. My issue with the Welby and the hierarchy of the CofE is they seem to put the institution ahead of God. They put friends and leaders ahead of the victims. Then they apparently hide behind the law to support their decisions of inaction rather than following Biblical teaching.
