Yesterday at the Synod of the Diocese of Sydney I had great pleasure in proposing the following motion:

Communion with the Anglican Church in North America

Synod declares it is in communion with the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) so long as communion is consistent with the Fundamental Declarations contained in the 1961 Constitution.

I’m delighted to report that the motion passed without dissent. Archbishop Foley Beach was also kind enough to send this message to the synod:
