For a long time now people have been wondering what on earth the Panel of Reference is actually doing. There have been scurrilous accusations that the thing is just ridiculously slow moving.
So it was a great surprise fo me today, during a visit to Taronga Zoo in Sydney, to stumble across what was meant to be a secret meeting of the Panel. Your roving reporter took a shot of the action so the facts can be verified.
