this is for real

Now, in case you don’t know who Joel Osteen is, this should inform you.

Needless to say, I don’t think I’ll be buying one…

1 Timothy 6:9-12
But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

  1. I really love Joel Osteen. Did you read the disclaimer on the bottom?

“Disclaimer: I W J O.com is not affiliated with Joel Osteen or Lakewood Church.”

I have watched him alot on TV and listened to him on interviews. I really doubt he would be okay with those items. Everyone who knows anything about him knows that he never even asks for money (in church or on tv).

However, a minimum of 10% of the net profits received from these products will be donated to the Lakewood Church TV ministry.”

  3. I’m so out of the loop. I don’t know this guy. I just recently found out about someone named Bob Larsen, and everyone else seems to know who he is. I’ve heard of Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell, but I have no idea what they really think on all issues. All I know is that these guys seem to somehow give Christianity a bad name. Sometimes I think they say things that are kind of stupid, from what I’ve heard, but don’t we all?
