Remembering John Stott - An Ordinary Christian

Isn't that telling? Stott's desire for public recognition is as

…an ordinary Christian who has struggled…

Those of us who knew him in any way can affirm that this is no false modesty.

No wonder there have been memorial events all around the globe. Here in Sydney the Archbishop spoke at a service at St Andrew's Cathedral (sermon text here [pdf]).
