The New Zealand branch of the Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans has just announced a 2016 conference.
The first details are available on a Facebook Page.
The Conference will have both North and South Island sessions and feature talks from Vaughan Roberts of St Ebbe’s Church, Oxford along with other local and international guests.
I am told an FCA NZ website and further conference details will be published in due course.
There are particular pressures upon orthodox Anglicans in New Zealand with the imminent vote by General Synod in May 2016 to formalise liturgies for blessings of same-sex relationships. All clergy in NZ are required to submit to the General Synod and this conference is therefore likely to be a key moment were local confessing Anglicans can discuss how best to respond to these and other challenges to church unity.
