about David

David Ould

I’m the Rector of Glenquarie Anglican Church in Sydney, Australia. I’m married to Jacqui, who I met whilst at All Souls, Langham Place in London. We have three Ouldlets.

As a Christian, this site is a mixture of my thoughts on life and Jesus, and in particular how those things are worked out in the Anglican Church into which I was ordained in 2008.

When not writing here I’m syndicated from time to time at Stand FirmThinking of GodThe Gospel Coalition (Australia) and Anglican Ink. I sit on the Provincial Synod of NSW and the General Synod of the Anglican Church of Australia.

Here’s a brief summary of what my work involves…

I hope you enjoy visiting. Do feel free to leave a comment and become part of the conversation or read more about who I am and why I’m here.

who do I blame?

My views are my own and may not necessarily be representative of the Anglican Diocese of Sydney, the good people of Glenquarie Anglican Church or, indeed, anyone else.

  1. Greetings David,
F Y I: Originally from WA I am the only person to have spent 36 yrs as a stained-glass artist, Churchill Fellow 1974. No book on stained glass existed until i spent 4yrs study, research etc so now it’s in print.
Not just a ‘ pic ‘type visual, but story of commissions; Parish life, as in W A hardly an Anglican Country / City Parish lacks our collective works. I dedicate it to two UK men, Edward ‘Ted Gowers & Albert Brown [ both R I P ] who gave Aust their all.

I look forward top your reply as mush it to learned, from my educational book [ maths; science of glass; architecture; subject selections] to mention a few. Appreciate your time.

    Respectfully …. Ken ph 0415 399 022
ps: I live in Bass Hill NSW….
