I can’t be the only one that’s been deluged over the last 24hrs with these annoying fake Microsoft “update” emails.
A nasty scam that’s going to sucker a lot of people. These are the first well produced email virus jobs that I’ve ever seen. But luckily I recently got Zonealarm Free anti virus so I dont need to worry about getting a virus. More than half the ones that I get have a Mircrosoft logo and links etc. But that attachment.. that’s going to be nasty – you just know it.

started day before yesterday. at least 60 emails in each of 3 accounts. had to put extra filters in just to stop this blizzard.
glad i run linux.
getting a lot of bogus bounced mail messages as well. still dont know that source.
