Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast Offers “a-la-carte” Baby Parts as “Line Items”

It’s hard to express the depths of outrage many are feeling over the continued Planned Parenthood scandal. In the latest video release we see a discussion with a senior director from Planned Parenthood in Texas over how to set up and then invoice for the sale of baby parts from abortions.

Here are the basic facts that are clear from the video.

(b) A person commits an offense if he or she knowingly or intentionally offers to buy, offers to sell, acquires, receives, sells, or otherwise transfers any human organ for valuable consideration.

  • What you see in the video is a clear breach of this code; a “Class A misdemeanour” (3.12.A). Each instance is a breach of the code.

Sec. 12.21. CLASS A MISDEMEANOR. An individual adjudged guilty of a Class A misdemeanor shall be punished by:

(1) a fine not to exceed $4,000;

(2) confinement in jail for a term not to exceed one year; or

(3) both such fine and confinement.

  • Procedures are changed in order to safely procure intact baby parts.
  • Different amounts are discussed for different parts, depending upon demand – i.e. this is a market transaction. It is the demand for the baby part that drives the price, not the work required to obtain the part.
  • There is clearly a deliberate decision being made to report the transaction in as opaque a way as possible (referring on invoices to “consents” rather than the specific parts) in order to hide the true nature of the transaction.

Those are the obvious facts. What will be done?

While one investigation in Texas has led to the extraordinary decision to charge the makers of these videos, rather than the Planned Parenthood employees there is another separate investigation by the Texas Health and Human Services and the Texas attorney general.

There appears to be more to Planned Parenthood than they are letting on.

Yes. It is an outrage how Planned Parenthood has always been found following the law even by House Committee hearings. People have tried to set them up on hidden videos, but even in these highly edited partly faked videos have found Planned Parenthood following the law. What an outrage

      “highly edited”

What’s fascinating is that they have always provided the full unedited video for anyone to access.

      “partly faked”

Which part of this is faked?

Why are you defending the selling of baby parts, Jon?

“David Daleiden got caught in his own lies and admitted what we already know — that he and others have heavily edited videos intended to attack Planned Parenthood. In an interview on Anderson Cooper 360, Daleiden not only conceded to deceptively editing the videos, but also acknowledged that video and images he used have nothing to do with Planned Parenthood.”

“The real story behind those Planned Parenthood videos”
“David Daleiden wanted to show exactly what a 19-week-old aborted fetus, being held in the hands of a medical technician, looked like. The problem was he didn’t have that picture. So he went to the Internet, found something close and inserted it into his documentary.”

        watch the CNN interview.

So creator of those videos admitted that he lied making videos, heavily edited videos and inserted non-Planned Parenthood material (=fake material) to videos. Note that in video experts say those are “heavily edited videos”.

oh please. Here’s the actual quote from the CNN piece:

Daleiden told CNN the fact that the photo is not an actual photo of an aborted fetus makes no difference. He insists the fetus is the same age as the one referred to in his film, and he used it only as an illustration.

So he used some stock footage of premature babies. So what? The real issue here is the actions of the PP staff which you have completely ignored in your “critique”. Critics have claimed the videos are “heavily edited” but Daleiden has published the full length videos online so it’s easy for anyone to see them in context.

If you claim that the videos are deceptively edited then show us the portion that is misleadingly edited compared to the actual full-length video. Take your time, Jon. I’d hate for you to be embarrassed by not being able to demonstrate what you so boldly claim.

It makes no difference if you don’t care about the truth and just push your agenda. I guess you don’t care about the accuracy or the full truth about the matter.

Just watch the above linked CNN report showing examples of it.

or Valerie has good analysis of it:
            http://valerietarico.com/2015/08/31/42-splices-and-counting-nine-facts-you-should-know-about-the-planned-parenthood-smear-campaign/

            for example:
“the first five videos released by Daleiden and CMP, contained 42 splices where sentences were cut and patched to create the appearance of a seamless conversation.”
Follow the link to forensic analysis pdf. Sadly you seem to be unaware of the truth.

No, not at all. What a ridiculous accusation to make. Daleiden, as explained in the video which I encourage everyone to watch, chose to use a picture of a baby at the same age as aborted children in order to illustrate their nature.

What is does allow you to do, however, is chase up spurious objections and ignore the far more substantive issues being raised in the videos – that Planned Parenthood sold baby parts in clear violation of Texas law and, even more importantly, any decent moral framework.

Why do you continue to defend those who murder babies for profit and then sell on the body parts of the murdered children?

Unfortunately, one cannot be surprised at this.
