exams – ALL DONE!

6th and final exam this morning – Doctrine of doom. Not too bad actually. Answered the following:

  1. On what ground are we justified in continuing to speak of the Christian hope of heaven?
  2. How appropriate is it to speak of hell as our choice rather than God’s?
  3. In what ways in the doctrine of predestination a doctrine ‘full of comfort’?
  4. Modern versions of the Nicene Creed have preferred the translation ‘universal’ to ‘catholic’ as a description of the church. Evaluate this decision in the light of Christian eschatology.

So that’s it. All the pain is over. Tomorrow will be fun – Communion and then lunch at college, lots of laughs in there with all the games that go on. And lots of time now to dedicate to the family. And cricket.

YAY! I’m glad you survived. And I would give quite a lot to read your answers to those questions but fully realize that once an exam is done, the absolute LAST thing in the world one wants to do is think about it again. Have a great break, David. 🙂
