A few weeks back I had the great privilege of officiating at the wedding of Steve and Theresa which took place at the Gunners’ Barracks, Mosman.
The Barracks have a wonderful veranda overlooking Sydney Harbour and, although it started chucking it down with rain and the light was almost non-existent, we had a great time. The restaurant were fantastic and pulled out every candle they could find to provide enough light for me to read with. The flames sparkled off the detail on the bride’s dress and everyone had a great time.
The fantastic photographer, Regina, at Saxon Cole Photography has given me permission to reproduce their photograph here. It is everything a wedding photo should be - full shot of the bride, something of the groom, and just the sliver of the celebrant’s head!
Speaking as a celebrant, the photographers were great. They took great shots, which you can check out on their blog, and I never felt like they were intrusive or getting in the way.
Do consider them if you need something like this in the future.
And what’s your cut?
