You Anglican bloggers, I love you all, I swear.
I cherish every word you write. I read them here and there.
You mighta penned them in your basement, sitting in your underwear,
But you stormed the gates of hell with them, I hope you are aware.

So, here’s to Greg* and Sarah, who help to keep me calm.
And all them other writers at Stand Firm in Faith dot com.
Well, their collected wisdom would fill a CD-ROM.
In the blogospheric warfare, they truly are “the bomb.“

Here’s to Christopher Johnson, over at the MCJ.
(He’s the Wizard of Webster Groves, or so I’ve heard them say.)
For every time I read him, I have a brighter day.
He’s another one-man think tank, of the Anglican brigade.

And here’s to my friend Peter Ould; I find him quite verbose.
When I have time to read him, he makes more sense than most.
In all his righteous rantings, there breathes the Holy Ghost.
When he sits down at his keyboard, all God’s enemies are “toast.“

In the aftermath of Lambeth, I huddled down in fear.
I heard the House of Bishops howl, and the Deputies all jeer.
But, me, I am not hopeless … set me up another beer,
And point my home computer to the Anglican blogosphere.

And here’s to Kendall Harmon, who I read from time to time,
He posts a million articles at Titus One Nine.
It’s precept upon precept, and line upon line.
With Christian sense and logic, I find to be so fine.
And here’s to Baby Blue, y’know, I feel we share one heart
In Anglican devotion … in minstrelsy, in art.
I read your Lambeth blogposts; they pierced me like a dart.
I read you in my sorrow, so I won’t fall apart.

And here’s to all you Commenters, with wit and wisdom strong.
You may not have a blog, but you’ve a verse in this here song.
Your snarky little comments keep us laughing all along.
With Anglican comedians like you, we can’t go wrong.

Here’s to Archbishop Cranmer, a-praying in his grave
To God, for all us Anglicans, our wretched souls to save.
I think of him each Sunday, while kneeling in the nave.
Like him, let us be holy. Like him, let us be brave.
And here’s to Gregory Venables, down in the Southern Cone.
And Emmanuel Kolini, who calls Rwanda home.
And Peter Akinola, that Gospel-gushing font:
